What is the main purpose of the geocell?

      Geocell is a three-dimensional mesh cell structure formed by reinforced HDPE sheet material through high-strength welding. It is generally formed by ultrasonic needle welding. Due to engineering needs, some holes are punched in the diaphragm. The geocells and loose fillers such as soil, sand and stone together form cushions with different apparent cohesion, different reinforcement strengths and different depths. Studies have shown that geocells can greatly improve the dynamic load bearing capacity of general fills; increase the shear strength of the subgrade slope soil, thereby achieving the effect of improving the stability of the slope. At present, geocells are widely used in soft soil foundation reinforcement and protection projects
